The short version
For six years I worked in marketing at an indie record label, helping artists find the people who’d love their music. It was the best education in audience building I could have asked for.
In 2020 I started a podcast in my closet, mostly to keep myself sane. It found an audience, then a community, then a business, and nobody was more surprised than me.
What I learned is that luck isn’t random. It’s a message people remember, showing up long enough to be noticed, and being brave enough to ask for the sale. That’s what I teach now.
